It was an absolute joy hosting your children for a March Break filled with hands-on learning and local adventures. From sustainable farming to the physics of sound, our students explored the best of Sarnia while sharpening their STEAM skills.
Highlights of the Week:
-
Science & Nature: Explored sustainable food with The Backyard Farmer, visited the Sarnia Farmers Market, and conducted chemistry experiments to identify minerals in coins.
-
Music & Sound: Discovered the science of sound waves, formed a “street band,” and enjoyed behind-the-scenes tours of van Goozen Music and Galaxy Records.
-
Math & Tech: Mastered screen-free coding and binary systems, and even headed to Al’s Vacuum & Sewing Centre to see how geometry and math create beautiful quilts.
Thank you for choosing Math Plus Tutors. We can’t wait to see your bright learners again soon!
