MPT will be at “Mittens for Mitton” on December 14th at 6pm! There will be free hot chocolate, cookies, and crafts. For anyone who cannot attend but wishes to contribute, we’ve set up a donation drop-off in our reception area for new winter clothing donations (Please be sure to bring any of your donations by Friday, December 13th). We had a fantastic time talking aptitude tests at the Sarnia-Lambton Workforce Development Board’s “Skilled Trade Expo”! This interactive event showcased the skilled trades and featured unions and other training delivery agents, skilled trade employers, and service providers.

Our booth hosted live Kahoot! trivias featuring sample questions from real industry aptitude tests such as the Electricians’, Pipefitters’, and Carpenters’ tests. Attendees were also able to  browse sample aptitude tests on the table & test their knowledge.

The CCC fall program for 18+ is now open for registration. Classes are scheduled every Thursday from 10 am till 1pm. Classes are planned to start on Oct 24 and run till Dec 12. At Math Plus Tutors our summer camp mission is to work with students on simplifying math concepts, and engage them in educational games that make math learning an enjoyable experience.

This summer we are excited to announce an opportunity for a few students to join MPT Math Camp FREE of charge! To qualify; the student needs to be:

• From the following Age groups (Grades 1-3) or ( Grades 4-6)
• Attend school at one of the Sarnia’s South end schools
• Interested in learning and improving their math skills
